aggressive driving

Shaler Township Police are again participating in the PennDOT Aggressive Driving Enforcement Program March 18, 2021 through April 25, 2021.

This enforcement wave will focus on dangerous aggressive driving habits which include speeding, tailgating, failing to stop for red lights/stop signs and driving too fast for conditions.

The purpose is to educate drivers and reduce the number of aggressive driving related crashes, injuries, and deaths on roadways throughout Shaler Township. Any aggressive driver stopped by police will receive a citation.

The enforcement program is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Protect and is funded by part of the department’s investment of federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
