CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION NOTICE
SHALER TOWNSHIP
Starting Salary: $55,730
Applications will be accepted at the Shaler Township municipal building, located at 300 Wetzel Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Online fillable applications are also available and may be submitted via email to shaler@shaler.org or submitted online through Shaler Township’s website.
DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTANCE: Saturday, September 5, 2020 – 12 Noon.
Shaler Township Police Officer Application
A written examination will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 9:00 AM at the Elfinwild Volunteer Fire Company located at: 2807 Mt. Royal Boulevard Glenshaw, PA 15116. Other mandatory components of the test are an oral examination, a background check, a fitness test, a medical examination, a psychological examination and a polygraph examination.
EXAMINATION FEE: A $50.00 application fee must be submitted with your application OR prior to the Written Examination. All of the following are acceptable forms of payment: online payment through Shaler Township’s website, call and pay over the phone, check or money order payable to “Shaler Township”, or cash.
