Scam Phone Calls
There have been multiple reports made to the Shaler Township Police regarding calls being made to residents that appear to be coming from the police station’s non-emergency phone number, 412-492-2222. The caller states something to the effect that there is a warrant out for your arrest and if you do not either ‘Push 1’ or pay a fine, officers will come to arrest you. If you receive such a call, just hang-up or disconnect. Do not give any information to the caller.
