Prescription Drug Take Back Box
Available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Shaler Township Police Department now has a Prescription Drug Take Back Box available in the lobby of the Police Department. Residents may now drop off prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications.
The following stipulations apply for the use of the box.
- Medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter, from households are accepted.
- Medications may be disposed of in the original container or in a sealed plastic bag.
- Liquids must remain in the original container.
- No needles, syringes or lancets shall be placed in the drop box.
The box was provided thanks to the PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP).
